What data is collected and why
Only data voluntarily provided through the contact form or when writing by email, phone or WhatsApp is processed:
- Name, email address and, if provided, phone number.
- The content of the message sent.
- Purpose: to answer the enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare and follow up a quotation.
The newsletter: the Mar de Encinas land price report
Subscribers to the report provide their email address and, optionally, their name. These details are used solely to send the report and notices of new issues: nothing else, and no other advertising.
- Sign-up uses double opt-in: after submitting the form you receive an email, and the subscription is only activated once you confirm it. That confirmation is the record of consent (article 6.1.a GDPR).
- Unsubscribing is immediate: every issue includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you may also request it by writing to the contact email.
- The sending service is Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Germany), acting as processor under an article 28 GDPR contract, with data stored in the European Union.
Legal basis
Processing is based on the consent given by ticking the box on the form before sending it (article 6.1.a GDPR) and on pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject (article 6.1.b GDPR) where the enquiry concerns hiring a service.
Retention period
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to deal with it and afterwards for the limitation period of any liability arising from the contact. Customer data is kept for the periods required by tax and commercial law.
Recipients
Data is not shared with third parties except where required by law. Technology providers needed to run the website and email do have access, acting as processors under a contract compliant with article 28 GDPR.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, the restriction of or objection to processing, and data portability, by writing to info@mardeencinas.es with proof of identity. You may also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place to protect the data, including encrypted transmission over HTTPS across the whole site.
